Cheyney House
Tucson, Arizona (1905)
The Cheyney House has long been listed as one of Arizona's "Most Endangered Historic Properties." Rehabilitation of the 1905 Holmes & Holmes design for use as a private residence. Following a destructive fire in 1983, and nearly 20 years of abandonment and neglect, the restoration of this National Register Property is a keystone in the revitalization of downtown Tucson, restored as three residences.
The project received the State of Arizona Heritage Preservation Honor Award from SHPO in 2002.
